Lamar Saxon began his journey in the golf industry as a cart attendant at Twin Ponds Golf Club, where his passion for the sport flourished. Rising through the ranks, Lamar transitioned to become the Assistant Golf Professional at Bella Vista Golf Course, where he honed his skills in teaching and club fittings while completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Seeking new challenges, Lamar accepted the role of Head Golf Professional at Mainland Golf Course, a sister course to Bella Vista GC, before serving as the Lead Assistant Professional at Chester Valley GC. Throughout his career, Lamar's dedication to teaching and custom club fittings has remained unwavering, as he finds joy in helping players of all levels improve their game. Outside of the golf course, Lamar can often be found enjoying the company of his Sheepadoodle puppy, Stella, exploring new culinary experiences at restaurants, or tackling the latest escape room challenge. Excited for the upcoming season, Lamar eagerly anticipates connecting with the members of Kennett Square Golf & Country Club, where he proudly serves as one of the Assistant Golf Professionals, ready to deliver exceptional service and expertise to enhance every golfer's experience.
